On Domhan the Golden Child is a legend, a hero of mythical proportions, avatar of the new God, Alinard. So, despite the destruction of the temples, he brings the people hope. The masses huddle around the fortress of another of Alinard's faithful to recover and lick their wounds while a chosen few are left behind to rebuild a temple greater than the one before. As the veils between worlds fade, the gods argue amongst themselves. Alinard finds allies in even the most unexpected places against the will of the Pantheon.
