This cookbook contains many of the recipes that my Great-Grandmother, Ruth Leonard, collected, cooked, and served to her family while living in Indiana in the early to mid 1900's. When she passed on in the late 1950's, all of her belongings were packed up and shipped to my Grandparents in Southern California. These boxes sat, unopened in a garage for well over 60 years. When I opened the box labeled "kitchen" and took out Ruth's cookbook, I knew it couldn't be kept boxed up in a dusty garage for another 60 years. I had to organize it and make it available to anyone else that has an interest in vintage recipes. I invite you into my Great-Grandmother's kitchen.
