Numerous studies have shown that invasive non-native plants are the biggest threat to biological diversity, are a threat to habitat de-struction, and aff ect the value of many pub-lic and privately owned lands (D'Antonio et al. 2004; Vanderhoof et al. 2009). National parks, established in part to preserve native plants and animals, are seeing native plant presence decrease as the number of inva-sive species increases at the rate of nearly two hectares per day (Crimmins et al. 2008).
