In Challenges, newly promoted Captain Random Arthur Hause, a former history teacher/baseball coach, finds himself at the center of the explosion as events on Echo World spin out of control. Through the help of Schoenfeldt and Eicherman, Random and Eileen Random and Eileen are able to find the manpower and resources to defend their newly created Savannah Protectorate. The price for failure is obvious. What isn't so obvious is; What are they going to do if they succeed? M. A.
