We Are Broken: A collection of poetry

Everyone tells you High School is the best time of your life. For some that's true, but for others it's more a nightmare. Things don't have to be bad in your life to feel bad about your life. Being bullied, not having any friends, hating yourself. Even if you have friends, a good family, it won't matter when depression hits... When you hit the bottom of the pit, it seems like there is no way out, and no one to turn to for help. No amount of "friends" or family is going to make things better. The poetry in this book is from the heart and mind of a young girl so buried beneath self-hatred and depression it's a wonder she made it. That's just it though, isn't it? She did make it and is finding a brighter place to rest her head.
