Second false argument: Phebe is believed to have held the office of a deacon in the church at Cenchrea since she was highly commended to the church at Rome by Paul (Romans 16:1-2). Why did God make Deborah a judge in Israel (Judges 4:4-5) if this does not justify having women preachers today?
