This is a book on a subject that is rarely written about in today's society, even though there are more and more Africans emigrating to the United States. For many people, images of lions, huts, and probably starving people come to mind when they think of Africa. Those images come from stories perhaps seen on TV about the very extremes of Africa, but just like North America, every continent has its own extremes, both good and bad. This book is not about the extremes, but about the middle ground. This true story reveals the life of a person who was born and raised in Cameroon, his journey to the U.S., and how life is like now for the author, being an immigrant from Africa in America.

Most of the profits from this book will be used towards the author's goal to build a hospital, pharmacy, and other healthcare establishments back in Cameroon. This endeavor will include traveling to the country's villages to provide people with medication and help that they would otherwise never receive, doing so in memory of the author's father.
