Stacey Nembhard is a dazzling product of Jamaica. She strives to always bring out the secret wonders of life in words; from her academic years at UC Berkeley and the Cal State University systems, to the revelation of her first book: "The Jamaican Linguist: I Remember When." Whenever she is not fine pointing books, she's a voracious reader, a habit she adapted from her years of studying History and Literature. She is also a seeker who is always ready to search out the next exciting adventure for an adrenaline-charged story plot. When she is not cooking Jamaican foods, she is looking to set the next fashion trend. She enjoys going to museums, beaches, travelling, theater, listening to jazz, instrumentals and sweet reggae music. She is an educator with the Antelope Valley School District in California. A mother to her son Bulie J, a lover her "dandelion flower" with whom she co-creates, and a strong believer in the Jamaican adage "Ohn Ohn Coco Full Basket" - which means - "To take one step at a time."
