There are many different types of prayers that we can pray and as some may argue, also many ways to pray. Some of these patterns include the prayer of thanksgiving, supplication, forgiveness, renunciation, repentance, salvation and others. The list is endless. Some believers are limited to praying by those patterns mentioned and this is fine. However my objective in this manual is to provide you with revelation and insight into my personal journey as an intercessor and provide biblical truths that will help you further your mission in advancing the Kingdom of God.From your personal prayer life to a corporate mandate, prayer is the key to establishing a connection with God. I have learned that when we pray on behalf of others we truly stir the heart of God. This kind of prayer is called intercession and Christ forever lives to make intercession. Though our needs are pressing and desires seem to go unmet, we must press on to cry unto the Lord for others. He is moved with great passion and his blessing will surely come upon you.II Chronicles 7:14 declares, "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." Believers, our first approach to a lifestyle of prayer must be that we humble ourselves (subdue and bring low), pray (make petitions), seek His face (worship), and turn from our wicked ways (repentance). These are the four principles that will help govern us in effective prayer so God can forgive us and heal our land. Saints, the world we live in is based upon whatever we ask the Father to make it or whatever we fail to ask Him. May a fresh anointing to pray be poured out upon you as you read this manual!
