, Tony is introduced to Alice's precocious seven-year old daughter, Angie. There is an immediate feeling of warmth between the two. Angie has been told her father was a sailor lost at sea. In reality, Hank is a felon who has been released from prison. Alice is concerned the truth about Hank will come to light if he tries to become part of Angie's life. Alice's fears become real when Hank kidnaps Angie, demands money and threatens Angie's future if Alice tells the police or anybody else about the ransom. Tony and Inspector Dekker must work in the background to get Angie back safely, and assure that Hank is rewarded with the penalty he deserves.
