Biter understands animals; he's a zoologist, after all. It's humans that confuse him. And this whole being tied down 'til death do us part thing really has him confounded. So, in the wake of breaking up with his girlfriend, when he's supposed to introduce a recently captured wolverine into its new cage at the zoo, Biter sees a chance to share his own newfound freedom with the animal kingdom-or at least with this one particular animal.

So begins Crawling Back to Start, a spiritual adventure story written by zoologist Greg Starypan. The book follows Biter as he encounters an intriguing cast of characters while journeying through life's ups and downs, supported by his best friend, JT.

Together, the two friends face death, love lost, and other spiritual complexities, learning to laugh and hope and soldier on with their eyes wide open to the world and people around them.
