When There's No One Else but God

Author Shares Her Journey through Cancer and Redemption New book is one woman's memoir of finding comfort in the Almighty. Bringing inspiration to every bookshelf, author Lindsay Cha'nnel Hill unveils the stirring story of her life. She strips it all as she shares her struggle with cancer in When There's No One Else but God. Hill's family is a military family. While being stationed in Alaska, she saw a need to grow closer to God, without any clue that the biggest battle her family had to face was still yet to come. It was during the time that her husband was deployed to Iraq that Hill knew that she had no one else to turn to. With her husband fighting a war where danger was always a companion, she had to serve as mother and father to her three children. As if these were not enough, Hill later learned from a doctor that she had cancer. Slowly after the confrontation, she endured everyday with denial that eventually led to acceptance and redemption. "A repeating message in this book is our need to trust in God. We simply do not have enough knowledge to explain why things happen the way they do. It is possible to rise above our limitations by trusting in God because God does knows why everything happens, and He will work situations to the benefit of those who love Him. When we have nothing left but God, God is enough," shares the author. Highly moving, deeply eye-opening, When There's No One Else but God is a poignantly crafted memoir of one woman's unforgettable journey through the only road available to her.
