On February 9, 1995, a Metropolitan Transportation Authority/New York City Transit subway train collided with a stopped subway train. The rear-end collision, in which 11 passengers and 4 transit employees sustained minor injuries, occurred on elevated track south of the Ninth Avenue station in Brooklyn, New York.
