If They Could Talk: letters from those who were there

The Bible is a big book-especially for our younger ones. The overall story can easily become disjointed; a collection of stories difficult to see how they connect. But they do! The Bible is the story of Paradise lost and Paradise regained. lt is the story of a God driven to redeem His children.

What if the animals who witnessed the unfolding of the story could talk? What if we gave them pen and paper to write? What would they say to us?

If They Could Talk is letters from those who were there; animals present at key redemptive moments in history. The Sparrow witnesses man's creation; the Rabbit in horror, watches the Fall; the Camel overhears God's promises to Abraham; the Jackal follows Moses and the Hebrews in the wilderness; the Chicken hears Isaiah's prophecies of the coming Suffering Servant; the Donkey observes the Savior's birth; the Mouse is at the base of the cross that gut-wrenching day; and there are letters from many other animals in between.

We want our children to know and believe history's greatest story. lf They Could Talk is written for that purpose; that our children might know and love their Lord and Savior.
