Faith had spent most of her life bouncing from foster home to foster home, only to end up back at the orphanage every time. The nuns were the only "family" that Faith could really remember ever having. When she becomes too old to continue living at the orphanage, Faith agrees to move out to the ranch that belongs to a man who had spent a lot of time out at the orphanage and had been kind to her.
