Asunder - Episode 2 of the Young Bornshire Chronicles

Renegade bishop, warrior priest, Arthur Bornshire surveyed the abandoned main street of Hellsgate with eyes as cold as the steel at his side. Pagan's Way was devoid of life, but alive with the mysteries of magic and death. Long before Arthur Bornshire assumed the mantle of protector of Christ's teachings, patrolling the streets of Hellsgate and clashing with the Apostles of the First Order, he was a soldier, the strong right arm of a Roman general. Still seeking revenge for the travesty set upon his village in Dry Bridge, Arthur plays his part until he by chance encounters his first love, Cleola, in Rome, and then finds himself called away to assist a long-time friend, caught in the clutches of merciless Roman soldiers in Hellsgate. The future awaits Arthur, and with it, duty, love, The Four Horseman, a witch, and destiny. The resolution of these conflicts holds the world in precarious balance. A balance, which Arthur must maintain, or lose something more precious than life.
