There are choices in life. I have suffered from mental illness. This presents me with a choice. I can let my mental illness define me. Or, I can let it inspire me. Depression and anxiety stole my confidence. My self worth. My energy, my enthusiasm, my compassion. Well I'm taking them back. I'm taking them all back. You are not weak. You are not flawed. You are not broken. And you are not alone. I'm lucky, I had the opportunity to undergo therapy. But it does not end there. The fight against depression and anxiety is a daily battle.
