The sad state of affairs that I describe in this book are believe it or not true and did occur during my six year marriage. At times I attempted to put a humorous tint to many of the events that occurred. At other times I simply wrote things as they actually occurred as many of the events were too painful for me to poke fun at. Recollecting I believe that a marriage or a union between two people is voluntary and is only as strong as the bond of trust between them. This union cannot grow and strengthen if it is built on lies and deceit which our marriage was. I am and was however a contributor to its collapse and take a good deal of responsibility for its demise. However, much of my frustration came from the fact that this woman who I continue to love dearly has never taken responsibility for her lies lies or deceit leading to our recent divorce.
