Ryan R Simpson was born in Monroe NC in June 1966. He is the youngest of six children raised in a Christian home by a loving mother who was a night shift licensed nurse and a father who was an established musician. As a child Ryan loved reading poetry and began at an early age writing poetry and lyrics to express himself through rap music. His passion for writing developed into more serious poetry that has been an inspiration to many who have read his poems and heard them through the spoken word. Ryan writes to encourage those who have been broken bruised and battered by the cares of this world. He captures real life experiences and uses the power of words to encourage the brokenhearted giving them the hope needed to overcome the challenges they face. Ryan is a loving husband to his beautiful wife of ten years Angela Anita. He is a caring father, minister, musician, baker and a man of many talents. He is currently a Senior Chemistry Laboratory Technician at A.T.I Specialty Materials in Monroe NC. Ryan not only has a passion for poetry but he has a passion for the word of God. He loves teaching the word of God with clarity and understanding to children, youths and adults. He uses poetry along with the word of God to minister into the lives of Gods precious people. Ryan understands the power of words so he uses his poetry to speak life into your situation so victory shall be yours!
