The life and times of Biblical personalities and events have left some gaps and questions between the parentheses. Why was David's mother never mentioned in scripture? Why was Joseph, Mary's husband, never mentioned in scripture after finding Jesus in the Temple talking to the elders at age twelve? Why wasn't he at the cross with Mary? The scripture refers to Jesus' four half-brothers and sisters. What was the home life like growing up? What was the childhood of John the Baptist like? He was Jesus' cousin. Was Judas' betrayal misunderstood. Was he just attempting to force Jesus to proclaim Himself the true King of the Jews after being presented to the High Priest and Pilot? The author offers some interesting suggestions and insights as to the possibilities of what might answer these, and other questions. Gene Hallmark earned his degree in Theology in 1970. He felt his calling was to establish a local church and pass along the passion he had for the practicality of Christian living. He served as choir director, assistant pastor, and taught classes on Christian fiscal responsibility, still working in the business world to support his family. He assumed the pastorate of a small church in Connecticut in 1976. His calling became clearer over the next few years and he found himself serving God in the business community on a full time basis. Sponsoring a number of successful business ventures for others, he has also founded two small corporations and shares another one with his wife. Father of two and grandfather of five he has lived in Florida for the last thirty years. His passion for the practicality of spirituality continues to be a blessing to many of his clients, business associates friends and family.
