Have you ever thought that you were in control of your destiny?
Englishman Robert Beal did. However, after making and losing a small fortune in the City of London, and following a failed love affair, he has decided to let fate dictate his future. He makes friends with the realtor, Stefan, who helped him purchase a Condo in Tampa, After a year, Stefan suggests that he may find that Key West meets his needs - spiritual and otherwise. This leads to a purchase of a rundown hundred year old house in Old Key West.
"Island on a sea of alcohol" chronicles a six week visit by Rob to his new home in Key West during Fantasy Fest. Rob's experiences take him from highs to lows, from hedonism to tragedy. He even finds love again. This book is the first of a planned trilogy.
