JAMIE, The LITTLE PEOPLE and Their UNDERGROUND WORLD

Seven years ago, Wayne Lawson made a startling discovery in Oregon's Willamette Valley. He learned that the land surrounding his home was inhabited by a race of elusive beings known as the little people. Barely three feet tall and full of mischief and enchantment, the little people live in a complex tribal society that goes undetected by the "big people" around them.

Wayne befriends Jamie, his wife Sara, and their two children. He learns the little people's unique customs and religious practices, including the worship of the deity known as Mother Above. As the years pass and Wayne realizes that he's the only big person who has ever been allowed into the little people's hidden world, he comes to rely on their friendship and assistance through many adventures.

Wayne often finds himself in sticky situations, and with the help of the little people, he somehow manages to come away unscathed. Is it the little people who are helping him or their goddess Mother Above? The answer to that question will test Wayne's long-held beliefs about fate and the meaning of life.
