As Jesus' disciples and followers, we should have that same conviction and heart. If we love Jesus, we should want to please Him. ?e true test of our love for the Lord our God is our obedience to Him. In John 14:15, Jesus said, "If you love me, keep my commandments." As a child of God, our every act of obedience will not be pain-free or difficulty-free. Nevertheless, because we love the Lord more than anything or anyone, we obey Him and also choose to say "not my will but yours."
