Presumed Dead

Spirits are running high in the old Scottish town of Dornoch as Annie Murdoch, psychic investigator and part time florist, is pulled by forces outside of her control into a new case. A tragic case of mistaken identity culminates in the fatality of a British business man on the Maltese Island of Comino, but the victims' spirit family will not let the situation rest and insist that Annie becomes involved to move the stalled case along. Annie is reluctant to become involved as her best friend Lisa has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and has only a few weeks left to live. As she wrestles with her decision, pressure from the missing mans family increases leaving Annie with no option but to assist in the search. Annie's gut instincts take her to where she feels the missing mans body will be found but puts herself in great danger as the murderers take her prisoner at knifepoint. A rescue attempt results in Annie being badly wounded. Will she make it back in time to be with her dying friend Lisa?
