What lies beneath the surface

Every day someone makes a comment about that person who just parked in a handicap space and does not look sick. Every day many of us face a struggle with daily chores and activities while we grimace underneath in pain. This book is intended to look at the many invisible illnesses that face people today. I try to share some insight into how my diseases affect my life in hope that it might give someone else resolve in dealing with their own issues. With the limitations of time and space I truly could not possibly cover all aspects of invisible diseases. I touched on multiple areas of concern in hope that it will give the public a view into life that we face. Chronic illness is a major problem. It need more attention, research and care. Please do not dismiss someone who tells you that they are in pain all the time. It is real. It is nothing to be ignored. Try to understand that not all things just go away because we act like they do not exist. Find love and compassion for others by becoming more aware of the problems they face.
