Mark Brodie is born with so much natural athletic talent that it borders on the super-natural. However, his father, due to a family tragedy that took the lives of his parents, does not allow the boy to participate in popular high-school sports. Only Mark's family and a few friends have witnessed the boys' fantastic, spellbinding feats. Mark keeps his secret to himself until bullies push him too far and he unleashes his powers.
