This book is such an inspiration but more than that, it's a revelation. It's about a young girl becoming a woman. As I read this story I became more and more aware that this isn't just her story, it's every woman's story. Every one of us has experienced "our first time". We've all experienced heart break, we have all lost someone that we love and we have all thought that we were on the verge of breaking down and losing our minds.Shareen really had me thinking back on past relationships; the cheating, getting caught, the making up and breaking up. I could see myself and my friends in every situation and it brought back so many memories that I had long since forgotten.All of us have been at a point in our lives where we thought that no one has experienced this suffering but me and all of us have thought that no one could possibly understand my pain.I have felt alone, I've felt sad and angry and even resentment.
