Why do bad things happen to good people? That is a question we have all asked ourselves. A clear answer, we will likely never have. When my life was turned upside down and I could not understand how something so unjust could happen, I heard this little story, based on a story from the Bible. It gave me such peace. It gave me a reason for why bad things happen. This simple, little story has given me comfort and hope during dark days, as I hope it will for all who read it. Children and adults alike.
