Life is actually a preparations for the resurrection. This can be defined as follows.Preparations for the Resurrection: Requires RELATIONSHIP to the family of God. Paul was writing to his brothers and sister in the Lord. These are people who have called on Jesus as their personal savior. Requires certain RESOLVE in the life of the believer. The call to be strong is not about physical strength it is about being willing to face whatever comes your way with the knowledge God is in charge of your life.Requires steadfast DETERMINATION if you want to succeed. The call to be immovable is echoed again and again in the writings of Paul. Often he says to stand firm in the Lord. Where God puts you is where he wants you to stay until he tells you to move.Requires dedicated SUBMISSION to the will of God. We are to always work enthusiastically for the Lord. If he is your lord then whatever he chooses for you should make you excited and make you happy to know it is his will for your life.Requires complete COMMITMENT on your part. Remember he showed complete commitment on the cross for you. Nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless. His plans are perfect and even if like Joseph we find a hard path remember what others planned for evil God has planned to use for His good purpose.Our entire life as a believer is preparation for the resurrection when we will discover the answer to all the times we have wanted to know 'Why Me.'
