Friends Change: Sequel to Gift of Change a space opera

The adventure's only beginning for Jason and Falon, seriously injured from unwanted physical upgrades forced upon them after they fought off space pirates and evaded the Empire. The captain and pilot of the space freighter Boundless and its artificial intelligence unit Fred are back in the space saga Friends Change, author D. T. Sanders' sequel to Gifts of Change.

Boundless, in need of repair, docks in the remote Valtair solar system where Jason and Falon seek medical treatment. Little do they know that the clinic they find is a front for corrupt gangsters eager to uncover the technology behind their enhanced human capabilities.

Falon may soon become a pimp's possession while Jason is slated for extermination. But the underworld bosses are in for a surprise if they expect it to be that easy. Fred gets the message out that help is needed, and friends old and new soon rally in support.

It won't be an easy battle with both the underworld and the Empire in pursuit. There are also some friends who may not be that friendly after all.

Neither side is ready to give in. When it all ends, will Jason's and Falon's newfound abilities and friends be just what they need to come out on top?
