""Love That Endures""

Trapped in a fit and youthful body, Dan Rafferty is man with no cognizance whatsoever. A rare familial condition caused Dan to have a stroke at forty, leaving a beautiful shell of a man behind. Standing by his side is his devoted wife, Fern. Somewhere on the periphery are Dan and Fern's self involved children, Andrew and Angela. A six year old grandchild, Ella, rounds out the Rafferty clan. Fern's days are filled with Dan's care and little else until Dan's childhood friend, Jack Knapton, enters the bleak terrain that is her life. Jack not only brings joy and excitement into their lives; he also brings tanned and toned arms, a bonafide six-pack, sparkly white teeth, and a quick and ready wit. He spends hours of his life visiting his old friend with no return for the effort as Dan responds to no one! Believing he is in love with Fern; Jack makes the mistake of confessing. Old school, Fern is furious with Jack and with herself----has she been sending him mixed signals? She cuts Jack strictly out of their lives. Unfortunately, Jack is unwilling to go and we witness the decline of his tenuous sanity. Unable to let go, Jack becomes a kidnapper....
