Delira has been saying to her family for too long that her boyfriend, Jace, is real. They refuse to believe that her and accuse her of being delusional. But Delira knows that Jace is too real to be an illusion. As the colors of the leaves change and the weather gets colder, Delira begins to remember things she had forgotten long ago; reasons why her friends no longer spoke to her, and why her family was always keeping her home to protect her.
