Qasidat Al Mutanabbi Wa Harra Qalbaahu

Abu al Tayyeb Al Mutanabbi is all times great Arab poet. His aims were sky high but never got what he dreamed of. He describes this unfulfilled wish by the the line: Not all you wish may be achieved, the wind does not come on the ships wishes. His life history connected him with kings and Emirs. The most was Sayf al Dawlah al Hamadani. This poem, is mortal in the sense where great poems survives, the poet makes farewell gesture to his superior the governor of Aleppo.
