In The Pookie Chronicles I focus on one drug addict that was familiar to me. This is the story of Earl. Earl is every drug addict we see in the streets. Via the movie New Jack City, his nickname is Pookie. It is a common joke amongst those not afflicted with the disease of addiction. This is his story. Their story.
