In addition to personal notes on the 2nd Annual San Francisco Poetry Festival, this slim volume contains excellent illustrations and a carefully-curated selection of Art Poetry by Jack Hirschman, a San Francisco poet. The narrative concerning Kenneth Rexroth's performance is likely the only published record or his appearance at the Second Annual San Francisco Poetry Festival James Martin Conlon (Bucktown Journaler) notes: "We need more small histories like this, just some notes carefully preserved and some imagination and illustration and there we are; on Polk Street with the poets of the world. Well done, Mr. O'Hara!"
