"Watch 'n Learn, Little Buddy" That was the advice Vince, a battle scarred American boxer cat gave to Lettuce, a timid tabby kitten. Vince ruled the neighbourhood with enormous seven clawed paws. Lettuce dreaded meeting him, but Vince had a soft side, took her under his protection and gave her the benefit of his experience. He led her through the gardens to see her first dog. It was supposed to be a vicious guard dog for a man who hated cats, but it was terrified of Vince due to what Vince referred to as his REPUTATION. The following day, Vince clawed the bare legs of the postman and quickly hid in the hedge. Screaming with pain, the postman turned to see what had attacked him and there was Lettuce! She had her reputation and began to live up to it. But when Vince was badly injured in a fight to the death with a fox and asked her to take his place for a while, even he was in awe of the devious plans she made to exact RETRIBUTION!"
