This author found peace through reconnecting with his faith in Jesus, the Christ and help through a variety of resources including the Veterans Administration which continues to be a medical and psychological ally, as well as, a social network of other veterans pulling together. The writing of a variety of pieces in the three books provided a vehicle of expression to outlet many discouraging and damaging and dangerous moments that God saw fit to see him through, but also to provide guidelines and encouragement to others in similar black pits, lost moments, hurtful occasions, and trials.
