Expat Larry takes us on a journey to the lands that have meant the most to him in his life. He compares the different Western cultures, their strengths, weaknesses and most of all their foibles. Presented with both humour and pathos, Expat Larry covers a range of topics from Religion and Sex to Food and Music....and a little Sport and the Weather too. A series of short essays provide us with everything we need to know about life in Western Culture. It is also the tale of Two Cities, one very large and the other almost insignificant, but they share the same name and both have a River Thames running through. Culture can be a slippery slope when it comes to comparisons, let alone trying to explain just one. Expat Larry gives us his own take on the cultures he has lived in, sometimes pushing the boundaries of propriety and politeness. Come along for the journey. You may see yourself in what he has to say. You may see someone you know. You may understand Western culture a little bit more. Love him or hate him, Expat Larry entertains and amuses like no other. See for yourself if you dare.
