A high percentage of these deaths can be attributed to the abuse of drugs and/or alcohol; however some stars have died tragically because they were involved in a fatal car crash or aeroplane crash, were murdered, had a terminal illness or succumbed to a fatal heart attack.A popular phrase 'The 27 Club' has become popular because of the perception that a lot of rock stars have died at the young age of 27 years.
