In The Gallery

Art proves to be a fitting companion for Gretchen as the psychological scars of an abusive relationship linger. It becomes the very thing that ushers in love again when she is startled by a stranger named Charles in her Palm Beach gallery.

When their chance encounter breaks a beautiful art piece, Charles seeks out the artist and purchases a work even more prized than the first. He gives it to Gretchen to make amends, but his interest doesn't stop there.

Gretchen begins to wonder if Charles, who has his own gallery in New York City, may just be the one to mend the cracks in her heart. Yet it's hard for her to let go of her mistrust of men, especially when she witnesses troubling encounters between Charles and some unsavory clientele. Then, when there's a violent death in his gallery, the investigation brings up allegations of an affair.

But second chances at love are rare, and Gretchen can't help but hope that Charles's heart is pure-that it's mere circumstance that conspiracy and suspense seem to follow him everywhere he goes.
