My Walk

Having been a diabetic all my life, I faced my greatest challenge in 2007 at the age of 39 when I suffered a heart attack and quadruple bypass directly related to complications from the disease. The poems within this book are a chronicle of the emotions and struggles that I've faced ever since that day. Many of the poems are preceded by comments that were written on the day the poem was completed. My hopes are that this will give the reader better insight into my emotions at the time.
