Her words illuminate strength and the courage to reach out to others who may be struggling trying to understand a major mental health issue such as suicide. I feel her passion and respect the work she has done to bring this issue to the forefront. She reminds us that this is real and help must come quickly if we are to truly save those who have nowhere to turn because of the taboo of mental health care even in our churches where we have run for so many times for safety. Lena guides us through her journey combining the academic and spiritual focus that helps to heal the soul. There is healing needed for the hurting heart as Lena clearly makes it plain.
