"Jennifer's Story-The Sequel" begins where "Jennifer's Story" left off. Jennifer Reed, a very successful lawyer whose career continues to move upward, now has another career as a mother. Balancing the two seems like a never ending task. As her career continues upward, she meets a man who is her intellectual equal. He fascinates her to the point that brings her to a junction in the road with her marriage and questions her love for her husband Jason. As she tries to sort out her marriage problems, things take a turn for the worst when her best friend Beth dies. It's a loss that she will never get over. Dealing with the loss of her best friend and holding her marriage together is a monumental task. Trying to get everything under control, she learns that her daughter-in-law has been gang raped. Frustrated by these tragedies, she manages to holds it together. Her life is a continuous uphill battle. Every time she takes one step forward, she winds up taking two steps backwards. For Jennifer, it tests her mental and physical strength.
