In Search of Me : 9781503271012

Is it a fantasy book? Is it a book on Christian Living? Is it a practical theology? Jim Warren, President and CEO of Dynamic Life Development, say YES to all these questions. "In Search of Me" is Jim's new book that will hold your interest, make you laugh, and in the process teach you who you are as a special creation of God. Jim likes to say it was written in a style that combines the essence of "A Pilgrim's Progress" and "The Chronicles of Narnia." Alex and Nicole find themselves mysteriously standing in an all-white room. Then they hear the "voice." It was a voice different from anything they had heard before. It sounded like a man, but it sounded like-so much more than a man. "I am the Everlasting Being, and I have chosen you." From that moment on their lives would never be the same. They enter a quest that will change and define their lives. They will face mysterious vines that hold them back from their quest. They will face daunting attacks from Minions of the Beast. Oh yes . . . there is that special guy, Master Jarren. He is a portly fellow with a bald head, trimmed white beard and a smirky smile. He has been sent by the Everlasting Being. Master Jarren will guide them through their changes as they learn the ways of the Isle of IWIGUP. Jim defines "practical theology" as a kind of "how-to" on Christian living. But don't let the word theology throw you off. It is written in an easy to read style omitting all the "theological jargon" that throws so many people off. While Jim originally wrote this book for youth and young adults between the ages of 16 - 27, he has discovered that adults are just as fascinated by the exciting learning style of a fantasy/Christian living novel. Oh and by the way-this book is filled with fantastic 3D art throughout its pages.
