Unlocking the Giver's Heart: A Focus on Biblical Stewardship

Unlocking the Giver's Heart is a verse-by-verse study of four key biblical stewardship Scriptures. The practices in this series can be presented in several different formats. They may be presented as an individual study, in a small group, or a Sunday School classs. In an effort to emphasize biblical stewardship, it would be great for the lessons to be taught to the entire church or organization. They were designed to be presented over four consecutive weeks during annual budget or stewardship emphasis time. Alternatively, they could be shared in two weekly sessions each year for two years. As a teaching pastor, I know how difficult it is to address the subject of tithing and giving. However, I have found that when the subject is presented properly, whether to a small group or to the entire church, the people receive a blessing as our Lord blesses those people. His blessings are not the same for everyone, yet He blesses all. Thus the title of this series of lessons; "Unlocking the Giver's Heart." It is my hope and prayer that this material will be helpful to you and to those whom you share it with, and will result in the advancement of the kingdom for the glory of God. As you read and/or prepare these lessons to present to others, may the Holy Spirit guide and enlighten you.
