The Meistermann Family: The Devil's Revenge

The law cannot cover every instance to guarantee justice is done. Buddy Burke, Connecticut State marshal, learns that in some cases common sense, fairness, and understanding determine justice outside a court of law. Balance the good versus evil in the story, and see if you agree with him. How would you have handled the information Buddy gathers on the death of Adolf Masters (Meistermann)? Revenge can be sweet, but not always. The Meistermann Family: The Devil's Revenge introduces a down-to-earth sleuth with a talent for understanding human behavior-the good and the bad. Buddy Burke developed these skills as the middle child of seven children. For him, they are the survival skills that got him enough to eat at the supper table, kept him out of fights with the older brothers, and gave him a stern heart to recognize when he was being conned by the younger ones. This novel is the sequel to the first place contest winning novella Adolf Meistermann: The Devil's Legacy.
