This book is about a journey to become the father, not only we are destined to be, but we need to be. Not only does our family need us to lead, but so does the world around us. The world needs more examples of what a father truly is. It is frightening how many children are growing up without a father or even a positive male role model in their life. This is important because every boy grows up with a hero image in his mind of the kind of man he wants to be, and every girl has a hero image that colors her idea of the man she wants to marry. How can a boy grow up to be a man or a girl grow up and know which qualities to look for in a partner, if there is no example to follow. We're born with survival instincts, instincts on what it is to be a male - but not a Man and there is a huge difference!
