This book is the first in a series I refer to as: Breaking The Bondage. Look for my next book to follow titled: "Bit and Bridle Religion," subtitled: Breaking The Bondage. Church Abuse and cultish mentality that fosters the travesty outlined in this book, contains a hard-core to-the-point message for pastors and leaders. The flipside is, it also contains hope and encouragement for the spiritually abused as you find out you are not alone, should never submit to controlling leadership of any kind. God's loving, caring, rod of discipline applied for growth, is gentle used for the ignorant innocent hungry sheep merely looking for green pasture. His hooked often employed for the benefit of the weak, ignorant, and restless babes in Christ is also used lovingly and for their benefit - all for growth purposes and never for controlling purposes. Know this and know that if you are under controlling leadership who does not help you to grow in your strengths, your gifts, and what you bring to the table to help a church body grow strong and mature, that submission to this kind of strong arm is not in God's Plan for you or for any believer with His Vision of church growth in mind. Let this book be a "wake-up call" to anyone submitting to a controlling spiritual authority, a heads-up for others searching for a church home with points of interest to consider, and most certainly it is a wake up call for pastors and leaders. If you become aware of an absence of flowery words in this book, and if honesty offends, you might be a little set-back with this publishing. Further, my credentials are simple, well-earned from the university of "Trials and Tribulations," and the authority you will sense this book written to it's completion, is never "assumed" but God-given with His anointing to back it. This non-fiction writing is my labor of love for His Purpose and for the greatest consideration of His most precious Flock - His Church. In a nutshell, this book is about Christ's Church and what it has become as a result of a mediocrity focus appeal to the casual seekers of Truth. It is about abusive leadership mishandling "the law of the spirit" or worse yet, not handling it at all. It is about "unqualified" leadership lacking a clear conscious and the deep truths needed to lead Christ's Church His Way.
