Rosemary and the House Between

In this blend of everyday life, sci-fi and fantasy, fifteen-year-old Rosemary struggles with a changing world. Fact and myth mix to bring out ageless truths. Political upheaval and dramatic climate change highlight Rosemary's strengths. She must choose between her hereditary role as princess and her career as musician. Given a series of choices under pressure, she resists bribes and promises of power and fame. Rosemary creatively and courageously endures bullies, the disappearance of friends, physical attacks, torture and constant attempts to alter her plans and self-concept. All the while she cares for a sick friend. Although written for early teens, the poetic images, mythical creatures, universal themes, pathos and humor can be enjoyed by all ages.
