Forgotten: A WWII Novel of Survival on a Greek Island Ignored by the Nazis

Germany and Italy occupy most of the larger Greek Dodecanese Islands by April 1941 with the exception of an insignificant island just off the shores of neutral Turkey. Bradley, the chief engineer, survives and swims to this isolated island, called Farmakonisi, befriends the Italian corporal and a beautiful native girl that they both fall in love with. In their struggle for survival, many adventures follow as Bradley and the islanders fight the Germans with little more than their wits and bare hands.
